Cambridge Schola sings a service of Compline or Vespers every Monday evening. The contemplative mood of these services provides a beautiful way to finish the day. We sing in a different chapel or church each Monday, and these services are always open to the public and free of charge.

This experience is intended for everyone, whatever their singing background. Many people have lost the singing habit, and our host choir will give all the encouragement that's needed to find your voice! The focus of the event is on bringing the group together for a shared musical experience, and our leaders will be helping with elements of posture and use of the body as well as musical themes including pitch, rhythm and vocalisation. However inexperienced you feel at singing, this will be a lovely session that'll leave you feeling enriched and enlivened, and will be a confidence boost to go and find your own regular choir!
Legendary baritone Roderick Williams sings Vaughan Williams' 5 Mystical Songs alongside choral classics. Roderick will be accompanied by the internationally acclaimed Celonatius Ensemble with Cambridge Schola directed by Graham Walker. The concert is in the beautiful setting of Trinity College Chapel with glorious music by Purcell, Mozart, Faure and Holst.
